Calling all AgTechs that are collecting, managing, or sharing, farm data!

Australian farmers are demanding more transparency and control over how their farm data is managed.

In response, the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) has developed the Australian Farm Data Code in consultation with their members and industry experts.

The aim of the Code is to build farmer trust in digital technology.

The Code is a code of conduct designed to inform the data management policies of product and service providers who manage data on behalf of farmers. It is also a yardstick by which farmers can evaluate the data terms and policies of providers.

The NFF is inviting providers to be independently assessed and certified against the Code, to:
