Hillridge Technology Pty Ltd is an insurance technology company that uses weather data algorithms to price and settle weather insurance that targets the agriculture sector.

This is a new form of insurance, called parametric insurance, which pays out on the basis of the underlying weather at critical times (such as heat stress or frost events during flowering, droughts, and heavy rainfall events) rather than on the basis of lengthy damage assessments.

Until recently, these products were not available in Australia for medium and smaller primary producers. Hillridge is partnering with a large global underwriter and local industry partners who will launch weather insurance products in Australia powered by our technology.
