The AxisTech Soil – S95-EP uses an EnviroPro soil probe to collect data around soil temperature, moisture and salinity and are available in 400, 800, 1200 and 1600mm depths.

As it comes with connectivity, data generated can be converted into a user-friendly and managed within AxisTech’s dashboarding software.

This data helps farmers and land managers to:

• Make predictive changes to better manage crop varieties

Installation Process

The Soil-S95-AQ comes already assembled with U-bolts and requires mounting on a pole. Before mounting, please ensure that the solar panel is facing north, and the wind direction sensor has been adjusted to align with the south pointer. Dig a hole to the length of the soil probe (soil probes come in a variety of lengths). Place the soil probe in the hole and cover with dirt. Dig a shallow trench for the cable connecting the soil probe to the S95 device so that the cable is hidden.
