The GBL is a single sensor data recorder which transmits the data directly to the Green Brain web app. This compact, solar powered data transmitter currently operates on the 3G network and is being upgraded to operate on Telstra’s CAT M1 network (available August 2019).

Pricing Model

The GBL is A$890 plus the cost of the connected sensor. An A$90 per annum subscription delivers access to the data stored in Green Brain.

Installation Process

The difficulty of installation depends entirely on the positioning of the soil moisture probe attached to the GBL. Sound sensor installation can be carried out by the customer. The GBL itself is supplied with a simple mount allowing it to be attached to posts or fence lines or other farm infrastructure already in place.

Ongoing Maintenance Required and Support Provided in Australia

The GBL is battery and solar powered and requires no maintenance.

Data collected by the measurement systems is delivered to the customer’s account in Green Brain. The customer has complete autonomy over the data in that account and may share it with third parties if that is desired.
