The EM38-MkII Ground Conductivity Meter provides measurement of both the quad-phase (conductivity) and in-phase (susceptibility) components, within two distinct depth ranges, to a maximum effective depth of 1.5 metres, all simultaneously. In addition, standard features and options each provide additional benefits: integrated Bluetooth functionality provides the option of wireless data transmission; a power input connector allows for the use of external power sources; a rechargeable external battery pack extends the duration of instrument operation; and a portable calibration stand can provide the convenience of an automated calibration. With all that the EM38 MkII provides, more information is now available in less time with less associated cost.

Pricing Model

Hardware is purchased outright. Customer / consultant owns data outright. Processing is simple and comprehensive with off-the-shelf software packages. Data presentation can be customised to optimise the customers applications and targets.

Installation Process

The solution is installed by the farmer / producer. Equipment can be used in a man-portable operation or mounted behind a tractor or ag-bike.

Ongoing Maintenance Required and Support Provided in Australia

The Geonics EM38 MkII requires minimal maintenance but when repair or re-calibration is needed, CoRMaGeo Instruments provides local support.
