Carbon Asset Solutions (CAS) is pioneering innovation at the intersection of natural capital, technology, climate, and carbon markets to deliver systemic change and shape the future of agriculture to measure and recognise the globe’s most valuable asset, soil, with the globe’s most accurate, volumetric, and time-efficient measurement tool.

CAS is developing a comprehensive soil quality condition report comprising data and concentration maps for texture, moisture content, topography, carbon and other minerals by measuring at least 90m3 of soil per hectare (equivalent to 2.7x 20-foot shipping containers per hectare) to within 1.1 mg of C per cm3 at a 95% confidence level, in real-time, in-situ and in a non-destructive method. By comparison, traditional soil sampling processes rely on soil cores and test approximately 0.2 grams of soil per hectare and take between weeks to months to yield results.

CAS has created a cutting-edge Soil Carbon Methodology upon ISO 14064 standards underpinned by the above precision data, a dMRV and immutable carbon registry in blockchain for traceability and transparency, and fully independent third-party auditing body.
