FARMap
Designed by former beef and sheep farmer and now entrepreneur Sam Baulch, FARMap was launched in 2021 to fill a gap in the farm management app market.
Understanding the value of quality farming maps and the role they play in successful farm management; Sam saw an opportunity to design and develop his version; a simple, cost-effective option suited to family farming operations, notably in the livestock sector.
Further inspired by the rising role technology was playing in agriculture, FARMAp quickly went into the development phase in early 2018.
“Quality assurance and accurate mapping is a problem for every farmer, so I wanted to put a cheaper option out there for family owned and operated farms”, Sam explained.
Simplicity and low cost are Sam’s main aims for the app, ensuring even grandparents are comfortable using FARMap.
Customers share how much they appreciate the simplicity of the app plus the personal touch of having 1:1 support rather than through a large agency.
Sam believes FARMap has changed the way people manage their farms by simplifying the process of recording data and generating reports with all information in one easy-to-access place.
Continually making improvements to the app based on client feedback, ensures FARMap delivers maximum value to our customers in to the future.
